The Noble Fir

Had drinks at The Noble Fir with my friend Jared.  His photo of the bar is featured in an e-tear for Condé Nast Traveler but my favorite one is from his blog.

I have the most beautiful, talented friends.  It blesses and completes me.

The New Girl Dress

Now you can own the Jess dress.  Just don't wear girls' bike shorts.  Ever heard of Spanx?

Street Spot

I met Branden of branden daniel & the Chics in line whilst making a beer pit stop at the West Seattle 7-Eleven.  His thoughtful vintage getup caught my attention.
Wearing: vintage Arnold Palmer jacket, J.Crew shawl collar sweater, vintage printed button-up, Vince pants, To Boot New York oxford booties, and my favorite element -- his turquoise '60s Mexican ring gifted by his wife for Valentine's and purchased at Gilt, one of my favorite vintage jewelry shops.  I love mixing: high and low, vintage and new, silver and gold.

DIY David

My youngest brother David loves DIY projects, particularly studding clothes, shoes, and making his own glass or iron-on bead pendants.  He's probably the most stylish person I know.  He cut off the arms of a thrifted denim jacket, studded the shit out of it, added some flare and a stick-it-to-the-man message scribbled on the back (his passion for politics far surpasses mine).  Also wearing: vintage Ray-Ban "Outdoorsman", gold Timex "Indiglo" (he's also a watch aficionado), Kill City "Wire" jeans, Dr. Martens 1460 Boot(the same style I bought when I was in high school).

"Don't point that gun at him, he's an unpaid intern."

Wearing: Team Zissou hats, white Uniqlo tees, raw denim by Acne and APC (left to right), Nike Cortez (Forest Gump shoes).

I was gifted these earrings from hitchcock, one of my top three favorite Seattle boutiques.  They're gold safety pins -- a little bit of DIY, little bit of antique, little bit of punk.  My friend and shop owner Erica wore this lipstick in her hitchcock blog and I had to have it.  Black Cherry by Revlon.
